Butterfly Briscoe Hill Hollywood Beach Road, Chesapeake City, MD

Welcome to Briscoe Hill,
home of Jack and Karen Morgan.
Located near the town of Chesapeake City in southern Cecil County, on Maryland's
Eastern Shore, the farm is part of our ancestral farm land in Town Point Neck.
Town Point Neck is one of the seven "historical necks" of Cecil county.

Our interest in sharing the history of Chesapeake City and the surrounding area,
and that of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, led to the writing of the book
CHESAPEAKE CITY - THE CANAL TOWN THROUGH THE YEARS. Published in 2000 by Briscoe Hill Publishers, it is a collaborative effort by authors Karen T. Morgan and
J. Kevin Titter (brother and sister, fifth-generation Chesapeake City natives).
The book contains old photographs (some never before published), and original illustrations. It highlights the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth century
history of Chesapeake City, with present-day comparisons.

We have a small goat operation and enjoy vegetable gardening.
